About Me
I’ve always been drawn to the arts—music, theatre, design, photography—anything that lets me create and tell stories.
Early on in my photography journey, I spent some time with a wildly talented photographer who generously shared her knowledge.
She introduced me to the camera system I still shoot with today, and showed me that photography is about being present in the moment and seeing things that other people might miss.
That conversation stayed with me. I started taking photography more seriously. But it wasn’t until life shifted that I truly understood its true value…
So Why ‘The Dayographer’?
Getting out of the house with kids is hard—especially when you’re doing it solo. Packing snacks, spare clothes, hats, sunscreen, water bottles, wipes—you need a whole inventory just for a simple outing.
Then there’s wrangling the kids into the car, making sure everyone is fed and happy, and actually trying to enjoy the day instead of just surviving it. Even when you’re at home for the day, with little kids, your hands are always full.
On top of all that, you want to capture the moment—but taking photos on your phone means you’re juggling even more. And let’s be honest, phone photos? They rarely do justice to how beautiful these moments really are.
You can’t be in the moment if you’re stuck behind a camera. You’re left with blurry, overexposed, or unflattering photos that don’t capture the magic you felt.
You’re always the one taking the photos, not in them. And by the time you’ve handled the logistics of the day, you’re too exhausted to even think about capturing it properly.
That’s where I come in.
As The Dayographer, I make hanging out with your kids easier. I’m not just there to take photos—I’m there to help. I’ll be the extra hands you wish you had, carrying the bags, passing out snacks, applying the sunscreen, and making sure everything runs smoothly so you can actually relax and enjoy the day.
And while you’re soaking up those moments—whether it’s a playday at home, the wonder of seeing animals up close, or the simple joy of ice cream in the sunshine—I’ll be there to document the moments as they naturally unfold. No posing. No pressure. Just real memories, beautifully captured.
Because these days? They fly by. And you deserve to be in the story, not just the one documenting it.
No posing. No pressure. Just real memories, beautifully captured.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about the photos. It’s about the story they tell and the moments you get to keep forever.
More than anything, I want the families I work with to walk away feeling lucky and grateful—not just for the photos, but for the life and memories they represent.
It would be an honour to help tell your story in a way that feels real, meaningful, and completely you.
