Our Beach Day at Mordialloc
The sky looked a bit moody, like it might rain, but that didn’t bother us. We had one excited little boy in the backseat, singing his heart out and making us laugh as we drove to the beach.

When we arrived, it was sunscreen on in a hurry, then a dash towards the water, feet kicking up sand with every step. Buckets, spades, and the joy of dipping our toes in the ocean. We drew in the sand, splashed at the edge, built sand castles and, of course, knocked them down.

Next, we hit the playground. There was bouncing, climbing, spinning, sliding and a whole lot of imaginary play. The giant hamster wheel? That was the winner.

When tummies started to rumble, we walked over to Tommy Ruff. Fish and chips never tasted so good—hot, crispy, and just what we needed after a big morning.

It was one of those days that felt easy, but special. Full of laughter, sandy hands, and those little moments you want to hold onto.
